International Shipping Policy
In our endeavor to provide those customers who reside outside the United States
the best possible service, Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc. has developed an International
Shipping Policy which establishes regulations for purchasing and shipping through
our online webstore. We have implemented these guidelines for our protection
in order to maintain our competitive prices.
Below is an outline for procedures for all orders generated for
shipping to any address outside the United States of America.
Payment Options
At Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc. it is our mission to develop strong
relationships with our customers. That is why we would like to
offer an opportunity to establish a line of credit with your company.
In order to accomplish this it is necessary to for us to verify
financial information concerning you and company. As your account
is kept current you would be eligible to receive incentives in
reference to the terms and conditions of your account.
Unless you have an account or until it has been established by meeting
certain financial criteria all orders will be prepaid in US currency
only by Wire Transfer only.
You will be notified via e-mail or by phone of the total amount
of your purchase and once we receive payment your order will be shipped
the same day. Also, if requested, after your shipment begins transit
you will be sent the tracking information for your own records.
We have the exclusive right to use the carrier of our choice for
all international orders. We do, however, give you the ability to
determine the time frame for delivery.
Please note that international shipping charges will not under any
circumstances be refunded unless the carrier refunds charges to Horizon
Datacom Solutions, Inc.
Customs Restrictions
Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc. can not be responsible
for any customs restrictions that apply in countries outside the
United States.
If for any reason your shipment is to be seized by Customs Officials,
we can not issue a refund until all equipment is returned in its
original packaging. If the shipment is returned you, the customer,
are still responsible for all shipping charges.
If you have any doubts concerning the accessibility of your order
to your country, it is your responsibility to inquire whether the
products you order are illegal to import into your country.
Fees & Taxes
You, the customer, are solely responsible for any
duties, fees and taxes that may apply to the shipment of all products
to your country. By Federal Law, Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc.
is obligated to list the entire amount of sale on the customs form
and also a description of the contents. All taxes and fees are solely
determined via your own country's tax authority and in no way do
we collect, pay, or profit from these charges. These costs usually
vary from country to country and are usually based on the insured
amount of the order.
If your shipment has been received by your customs office and you
do refuse to pay all duties, fees and taxes that shipment will be
returned to Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc. and you, the customer,
will be responsible for all shipping fees. Also any fees that we
may incur to refund your purchase to you in this situation will be
deducted from the proceeds.
Lost Packages
Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc. assumes no liability
for lost packages by the designated freight carrier.
Return Policy
If you would like to return a product, you must inform
Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc., preferably the original sales associate,
within thirty days of the shipment date for authorization to make
arrangements and receive return instructions. All packages must be
returned in their original condition and fully insured in order to
receive a refund.
However, shipping expenses for international returns will not be
covered. If items are damaged in transit with improper insurance
coverage we will not grant a refund. If a product being returned
is properly insured and damaged, a refund will not be issued until
after the claim has been settled with the carrier.
If you receive a shipment that was damaged in transit, you must
inform us within twenty-four hours after you have received said shipment.
During this period we recommend you email a digital picture along
with your message. We will then contact the carrier for on-site visual
inspection of the packaging and equipment. In this instance we will
issue you a full credit for the amount of all confirmed damaged equipment.
No product returns will be accepted after the warranty period has
expired.
Insurance Charges
It is Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc. policy to insure for their
full value all goods entering transit either domestic or international.
If a customer requests us to ship equipment using our account without
insurance, Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc. is in no way responsible
for any damage whatsoever and in no case will any return of equipment
or refund be allotted.
These rules and regulations are provided for all interested international
buyers. By entering into a transaction with Horizon Datacom Solutions,
Inc. all parties agree to abide by and respect these guidelines herein
this document. Horizon Datacom Solutions, Inc. retains the right
to change any part with or without notice.
